Lost Canyons LA on Instagram: "Cynthia Albritto AKA Cynthia Plaster Caster moved to LA in 1969 after Frank Zappa became aware of her work taking casts of rock star genitalia and added her to his merry band of Laurel Canyon scenesters. Albritto began making casts after her college art teacher gave her the assignment to make a cast of “something solid that could retain its shape.” While her first casting attempt with Paul Revere and the Raiders didn’t work out (her homework ended up being plaster vegetable), Albritto’s plan to lose her virginity to singer Mark Lindsay did.
