Oenothera speciosa (evening primrose)

Primrose is a family of flowering perennials that grows between 2 inches and 2 feet tall. Given cool temperatures, adequate moisture, slightly acidic soil and protection from intense afternoon sun, they will flower throughout the spring in shades of purple, yellow, pink or white.

Our greeting cards are 5" x 7" in size and are produced on digital offset printers using 100 lb. paper stock. Each card is coated with a UV protectant on the outside surface which produces a semi-gloss finish. The inside of each card has a matte white finish and can be customized with your own message up to 500 characters in length. Each card comes with a white envelope for mailing or gift giving.

The primrose is perhaps one of our most loved and familiar native flowers, heralding spring with pretty clusters of pale lemon flowers nestling amongst rosettes of green foliage. Great for naturalising, perfect for shady areas, fast growing. Flowers March-early May. Height 10-20cm (4-8").
