Yes, Nuvio is free and open source software (FOSS). Nuvio runs on donations. Please consider donating.

What does it support?
Currently, Nuvio runs on Android mobile, Android TV, Windows, macOS, iOS, WebOS, and Tizen.
Why is the TestFlight full? When will there be spots?
Apple provides 10k spots to developers. These spots are often fully filled and rarely become available.
Why am I getting metadata errors?
It is required that your metadata addons be first in the list of your addons. You can move them to the top spot within a Nuvio app under addons.
Why can't I install plugins?
If you installed Nuvio from an app store, the plugin feature is not included. You must use a sideload method for it to work. When installing a plugin, you need to use the plugin section of Nuvio. Trying to install a plugin in the addon section of Nuvio will result in an error.
What's the deal with trailers?
Trailers are checked against TMDB first with the user's set language. If no trailers are found in the user's set language, it defaults to English. Trailers are taken from YouTube and then extracted by Nuvio to be played in ExoPlayer. If trailers are not playing, check if you are using a VPN. Many VPNs are blocked by YouTube. Trailers are also only available on the sideload versions of Nuvio.
Where do I get images or gifs for my collections or profile?
The easiest way is to get them from Nuvio's community covers.
How do I turn subtitles off by default?
You can turn subtitles off by default by setting your preferred language to none.
How do I reset my Nuvio account password?
On Nuvio.tv, go to the login page and select forgot password.
How do I delete my Nuvio account?
Go to Nuvio.tv and log in. While on the account tab, click TV Settings in the left sidebar. At the bottom, there will be a button to delete your account.
