For this week's look inside an Amish home we visit Ohio. This is a very spacious and nice property with a more progressive Amish home interior. Let's look inside.

Reader Jerry brought to my attention a silent auction concluding today in Millersburg, PA, of an Amish-owned organic dairy farm. Step inside a beautiful Amish home located in Pike County. Built in 2017 this home offers wood floors, living room, kitchen, pantry, 2 bedrooms, sewing room or 3rd bedroom, washroom, & mud room.

I found an Amish home listing in The First State, aka Delaware. This state of just three counties has just one Amish community, but it is a long-lived one. It's located next to the city of Dover, which is one reason we might be finding this particular home advertisement online. That it, the settlement's proximity

On first look it appears to be a Swartzentruber Amish home, though according to the listing it has two full baths. It’s possible it’s another plain group (Swartzentruber Amish homes don’t have conventional bathrooms). Or, whoever prepared it for sale has installed two bathrooms. You can see by the next photo that it looks like this home was assembled in three parts over the years.

The interior of this home has some vibrant color throughout, which combined with the spacious rooms and ample light. Check it out!

This is an Amish home in the Berne, Indiana community (Adams County). This would be the largest group of the generally conservative "Swiss Amish". Depending on when you read this, the home and farm you see here will soon find itself - or may have already found - a new owner. This is a home

Today a closer look at another of the seven Amish homes for sale in Fleming County, Kentucky. This little Amish starter is by far the smallest of the bunch, at just two bedrooms and 768 square feet. It actually looks more like a small shop from this angle which I shared in the original post.

This Amish home has a very rustic, old-timey look. Seymour is a plain settlement where many homes have a distinctive shingle-siding plain look to them. I’ve seen numerous photos of the exteriors of Seymour homes, but I’ve never seen inside one of these plain Amish abodes. Check this out!

Not all Amish live in farmhouses. In some cases they will live in mobile or prefabricated homes. This is not too common, but these are often starter properties for young couples.
