PLOT: A boyfriend/girlfriend (Mann & Matthew Broderick) decide to take a break from each other. Enter a borderline cable guy (Jim Carrey) who befriends the boyfriend and tries to bring the couple back together again. Co-produced by Judd Apatow. Directed by Ben Stiller. At her audition, Leslie was fed the lines of Carrey by Apatow. The audition worked twice: she won the role in the movie and shortly after filming was complete, Judd and Leslie began a relationship.
