Most all pine species can be used for this recipe but some pine can be toxic, so make sure you are using pine from a tree that is not toxic to humans. Second, cut the needles from the branches to avoid a sticky cleaner. Lastly, always make sure the surfaces you are cleaning can be cleaned with vinegar; example natural stone surfaces like marble and granite might be damaged over time by the acidity of vinegar. 

Let your mixture sit in a dark and cool cabinet for 2-4 weeks, strain, it's optional to dilute 1:1 with water (I don't) then it's ready to use!
