Sunflower Cookie This look can be achieved using royal icing (as pictured) OR buttercream. I used a 3” round cookie and using a large piping tip, outlined where the middle of my flower would be. Using thick royal icing in a light brown I filled in the middle and used a paintbrush and some brown airbrush color to add texture and definition. Then I went in with the airbrush machine and added more Harvest brown color. Make a thick well around the cookie to allow the petals to stay elevated. Using a 325 piping tip to create two rows of petals.
