Woolly rhinoceros

The extinct woolly rhinoceros (Coelodonta antiquitatis) was once common throughout Europe and northern Asia during the Pleistocene. It may have survived as recently as 10,000 years ago. Although contemporary with the Woolly Mammoths, they never moved across the Bering Strait Land Bridge into North America.
