About OASec

AI is being embedded into critical systems faster than the practices to secure and govern it can keep pace. Yet the people working on these problems, across research, industry, and government, too often do so in isolation.

OASec 2026 brings together safety and security researchers, CISOs, policymakers, and practitioners for an intensive day of technical talks on how AI systems are built, deployed, governed, attacked, and defended.

The conference features a mix of invited keynotes and community-selected talks on a single stage. Topics span offensive research, defensive techniques, enterprise deployment, governance, and emerging risks across foundation models, copilots, autonomous workflows, and agentic systems.

Tracks

Talks span four tracks, all presented on a single stage.

Enterprise

Real-world adoption of AI in production. Use cases, architecture patterns, deployment strategies, and lessons learned from operating AI systems at scale.

Governance

Policies, controls, standards, and organizational frameworks for responsible AI deployment. Regulation, compliance, risk management, and operating models for GenAI.

Offense

Research, vulnerability disclosures, and demonstrations of AI system attacks. Red teaming, jailbreaks, prompt injection, tool abuse, and attack paths.

Defense

Techniques and practices for securing AI systems. Guardrails, policy enforcement, detection, incident response, and secure-by-design patterns.

Registration

Registration is now open, and attendance is complimentary for professionals and researchers working in relevant fields. All registrations are subject to review and confirmation, with approvals granted on a rolling basis; submitting a registration does not guarantee a place. Registration will close on 4 September 2026 or earlier if capacity is reached.

FAQ

Each talk will be 20 minutes total: 15 minutes for presentation followed by 5 minutes of Q&A. All talks run on a single stage throughout the day.
Recording policy will be confirmed closer to the event. We plan to record and publish sessions on YouTube, with speaker consent.
Singapore offers visa-free entry for many nationalities (typically 30 to 90 days). Please check with the Immigration & Checkpoints Authority (ICA) of Singapore for the latest visa requirements for your country.
Yes. Each speaker may submit up to 3 proposals. Each proposal must be submitted separately.
OASec is a community-led event and does not automatically cover travel or accommodation for Accepted Speakers. Speakers are expected to use employer, institutional, grant, or personal travel support where available. OASec may maintain a limited Accepted Speaker Support Fund for accepted speakers who would otherwise be unable to attend, need-based, subject to available budget, and not guaranteed. In practice, support is provided as accommodation rather than airfare. Eligibility is limited to independent researchers, students, community contributors, nonprofit or public-interest speakers, underrepresented speakers, and speakers without employer travel support. Any support must be approved in advance. OASec may offer accommodation support of up to two hotel nights in Singapore for Accepted Speakers without employer or institutional funding. Travel support decisions are separate from CFP selection and do not affect talk acceptance. Singapore-based speakers do not qualify for accommodation or travel support, as they do not require either to attend.
