Of Unsound Mind is excited to welcome the mercurial talent that is Elzace back to the label with a brand new 2 track EP.
2024 saw Elzace burst onto the scene with their first EP on the label. It’s not often that a brand new artist sees their first release on a label achieve Essential New Tune on Pete Tong’s BBC Radio 1 show but that’s the reality of Elzace’s launch into the wider world of electronic music.
The lead track, “Piano Protocol" is a peak time, main room, anthemic workout focussing, as the title suggests, around an addictive piano riff with hints of an Amen Break and crisp drums that lovers of Dusky or Because Of Art will be sure to connect with.
"Project 5am" hints at the story behind Elzace's last EP on the label. Label boss Skream dropped the lead track from that EP, 'Ascendance' at 5am at Warehouse Project and it was at that moment he decided he must sign it to the label. ‘Project 5am’ draws from the energy and vibe of Ascendance’. Epic synth lines and melodies are the order of the day that will surely fit like a glove in the settings of bigger clubs and warehouse venues alike.
