about

BLACK GIRL / WHITE GIRL mark their return with ‘Dancefloor Destroyers: Reboot, ’ a statement EP that reaffirms their place at the cutting edge of techno. More than just a comeback, this release represents a recalibration — a return to the raw, high-energy club sound that has always defined them.

As artists committed to pushing the boundaries of techno, BLACK GIRL / WHITE GIRL integrate analogue textures, modular synthesis, and percussive intensity into a signature sound that is both deeply rooted in tradition and entirely their own. ‘Dancefloor Destroyers: Reboot’ is an unfiltered reflection of their vision: fierce, groove-heavy, and built for those who truly live for the music.

Since its release, Dancefloor Destroyers: Reboot has made serious waves across the scene. Premiered by Eats Everything on BBC Radio 1 and picked up by Tom Ravenscroft on BBC Radio 6 Music, the EP’s raw energy has resonated with selectors and club crowds alike.

Tastemaker love has been pouring in from across the scene, from Anja Schneider, Claptone, I.JORDAN, Karotte, Blasha & Allatt, Grace Dahl, Joseph Capriati, Hilit Kolet, and many more. Press nods from Mixmag, DJ Mag, and Beatportal helped fuel the momentum, with fans showing up heavy on Spotify and beyond.

The release also marks the duo's first EP since Ty’s leukemia recovery — a deeply personal comeback and a full-force return to their raw, percussive club roots. With this reset, they underscore their commitment to techno as a space of expression, movement, and liberation.

From its enraptured peaks to its unrelenting percussive drive, ‘Dancefloor Destroyers: Reboot’ is an ode to the spaces that bring people together — to sweat, to move, and to reconnect with the music.
