Xtra Happy Putrifiers II sees a mellower, almost more artsy, take on the classic garage sound of this era; songcraft and production take the spotlight over thrashy bangers, though they still show up ('Lupine Dominus').

Moments reminiscent of "Dog Poison" and "Castlemania" can be heard in the upbeat jangly guitar of 'Flood's New Light' and 'Hang A Picture', with other takes like the slow operatic 'So Nice' and the crooning 'Goodbye Baby' offering another aspect to the usual fuzzy distorted bar chord ragers Favorite track: Wicked Park.

Crinklechips An old gem of an album. I'm listening to old Osees and this one really shines for me. I’m not aware if any of this material is still performed but if not it really deserves a dusting off. A great and ranging set with a really nice production.
