The title of this manual has varied somewhat over the years. Renewals tend to be filed under Books and not under Periodicals. The 7th edition, currently the earliest with an active renewal, was renewed under the title 'The Merck Manual of Therapeutics and Materia Medica'; the 8th and later printed editions use the title 'The Merck Manual of Diagnosis and Therapy'.
