Publication History

Mechanics' Magazine began in 1833 as Mechanics' Magazine and Register of Inventions and Improvements. Its title shifted in 1836 to Mechanics' Magazine and Journal of the Mechanics' Institute. It was absorbed into the American Railroad Journal in 1837.
