Publication History

The Contemporary Review began in 1866. No issue or contribution copyright renewals were found for this serial. (More details) In 1955 it incorporated the Fortnightly. The last issue we know of was published in 2013.

Persistent Archives of Complete Issues

• 1866-1928: HathiTrust has volumes 1-134 freely readable online. Access to volumes after 1898 may be restricted outside the United States. Some later volumes may be searchable but not readable online here.
• 1879, 1883: Project Gutenberg has transcriptions of the issues of volume 36, and of one issue in volume 43.
