Farm Journal is a long-running American agriculture publication.

Publication History

Farm Journal began in 1877. The cover title was The National Farm Journal from 1927 to 1933. It absorbed The Farmer's Wife in 1939, and for a time after published as Farm Journal and Farmer's Wife (and included a Farmer's Wife section even after the title reverted to Farm Journal). It absorbed The Country Gentleman in 1955, and published for a few months afterwards as Farm Journal and Country Gentleman. The first actively copyright-renewed issue is August 1943 (v. 67 no. 8). The first actively copyright-renewed contribution is from February 1936. (More details) It is still published today. We are not aware of any active copyrights in the issues and volumes isted below.
