The Fortnightly Review was the longest-running name of a periodical for American Catholics that was edited and published by Arthur Preuss.

Publication History

The Fortnightly Review began in 1894 as "The Chicago Review", but the name was quickly changed to "The Review" to avoid confusion with another newspaper. It became the Catholic Fortnightly Review in 1905, and the Fortnightly Review in 1912. No issue or contribution copyright renewals were found for this serial. (More details) It ceased publication in 1935, shortly after Preuss's death.
