Reports of the Meetings of the Provisional Legislative Council of Hong Kong (Hansard)

The Hansard is the official report of the debates and discussion of the Provisional Legislative Council, which for a time was the legislative body of Hong Kong under Chinese rule.

Publication History

The Provisional Legislative Council was created by the Chinese government in 1996 to supersede the Legislative Council that existed under British rule. It officially took power at the end of June 1997 upon transfer of Hong Kong to China. It was superseded in 1998 by a reconstituted, elected Legislative Council.
