The famous British publication The Strand Magazine published an American edition in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. The contents were similar to the original British magazine, but with some of its contributions delayed or omitted due to publishing rights, or lack of perceived American interest.
The US edition of The Strand Magazine ran from 1891 through 1916.
