about

Outcast Tape Infirmary is pleased to announce the upcoming release of our latest compilation, a tribute to the great songs of 2003, appropriately entitled “Outcast Tape Infirmary 2003 Cover Compilation.”

'03 was a landmark year for a generation of musicians and fans. The third-wave emo scene finally rose from the underground and started to make waves in the mainstream. Indie rock was going through its own renaissance. And of course there were some major pop and hip-hop bangers thrown into the mix as well.

The “2003 Cover Compilation” features 18 tracks from a variety of talented bands and musicians. The album begins with an appropriately rollicking cover of Fall Out Boy's “Grand Theft Autumn” by Juliet's Apartment. Other highlights include Elliott Green's heart-wrenching cover of Sufjan Stevens' “Romulus,” Pacing's lo-fi version of “Stacy's Mom,” and a surprisingly haunting cover of Kelis' “Milkshake” by queer father.

20% of all physical sales and 100% of digital sales will be donated to The River Food Pantry, which provides meals for thousands of residents in Dane County, Wisconsin.
