When I was little, I loved visiting my grandma. One of my fondest childhood memories was the iced tea she would prepare for me. She made it special by adding homemade jam and chilling it overnight in the fridge. On hot summer mornings, when the temperature would rise to 40°C, I would wake up parched and take a sip of that iced tea. It was incredibly refreshing—sweet, cool, and full of comfort.
Years later, during a university workshop, we were tasked with designing innovative packaging for a beverage. Instantly, that childhood iced tea came to mind. Since I’ve always loved that drink, I created a vintage-inspired design. I added a piece of foil, like a tablecloth, to the can, referencing the jam style and giving it a nostalgic touch. But beyond aesthetics, it had a functional purpose—it could be used to cover the opening and keep dust out.
That simple childhood moment became the foundation of something bigger. Now, my iced tea with natural jam is more than just a drink; it’s a story, a feeling, and a way to share a piece of my past with others.
