Westside Ballet of Santa Monica presents "Masters of Movement: Ballet through the Centuries"—a richly varied program showcasing the nonprofit company's pre-professional dancers, alumni, and guest artists at the Eli and Edythe Broad Stage in Santa Monica.
The Saturday evening Gala features New York City Ballet principals <a href="https://www.instagram.com/reel/DI-6-xEOgMP/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">Tiler Peck</a> (currently starring in Prime Video's <a href="https://time.com/7280035/etoile-ballet-dancers-true-story/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">Étoile</a>) and Roman Mejia performing Jerome Robbins' celebrated Other Dances with live piano accompaniment. The program includes another Robbins masterpiece, Circus Polka, and Justin Peck's Bloom performed by Los Angeles Ballet dancers Kate Inoue and Marcos Ramirez with a live string quartet. Westside Ballet will honor NYCB principal Andrew Veyette, an esteemed alumnus, with the Bravo! Award, while LA and Santa Monica First Responders will receive the Huntley Santa Monica Beach Community Service Award. Get $70 off this special event with code “Patch25”.

Westside Ballet 'MASTERS OF MOVEMENT' Spring Performances 

May 31 - June 1,&nbsp;Spring Showcase 1pm (May 31 and June 1)
Westside Ballet of Santa Monica presents "Masters of Movement: Ballet through the Centuries"—a richly varied program showcasing the nonprofit company's pre-professional dancers, alumni, and guest artists at the Eli and Edythe Broad Stage in Santa Monica.
The Spring Showcase performances feature Bournonville's rare masterpiece Le Conservatoire, excerpts from Coppélia, a contemporary work by Mark Tomasic, and Michele Bachar Mendicelli's jazz arrangement of Cabaret. Both programs showcase 12-year-old prodigy Spencer Collins, recently named the world's top youth dancer at the YAGP Finals. A portion of proceeds supports Westside Ballet's Fire Relief Scholarship Fund for dance families affected by recent fires.
