Abstract

Fastenings for converting an hourglass shape piece of composite fabric etc. into baby pants comprise a pair of straps each having tab ends which can be bonded to opposite halves of the top of the garment. The central portion of each strap is elastic and extensible enough to accommodate normal variations in the girth of a baby. Opt. the internal faces of the tabs are coated with a pressure sensitive adhesive which will bond with the appropriate parts of the outer surface material of the pants.
