Abstract

The present invention relates to a mobile telephone docking station (2) comprising a mobile telephone (1) cradling unit (3) which includes or is co-ordinated with a first electric contact-equipped part (4a) of a first 2-part electric coupling device (4) whose other electric-contact-equipped part (4b) is related to said mobile telephone apparatus. A microphone unit (6a) is adapted to deliver information through the medium of first circuits (61) and through the medium of an accessible mobile telephone network (8) and a loudspeaker unit (66) is adapted to deliver information through the medium of second circuits (62) associated with said docking station and also through the medium of said accessible mobile telephone network (8) Each of said first electric-contact-equipped parts (4a, 4a', 4a') belonging to the first 2-part coupling device (4) and related to each selectable mobile telephone apparatus (1) within the available number of mobile telephone apparatus (1, 1 ', 1 ') is comprised of a unit or assemblage (5). Wherein each of said telephone apparatus related units (5) is adapted for insertion or placement in and removable from one and the same socket (11) related to the mobile telephone docking station (2) and wherein when a chosen unit is positioned in the socket (11) the electric-contact-equipped first part (4a) will be orientated so as to be 'registered' for connection with the electric-contact-equipped second part (4b) of said first 2-part coupling device (4) as the chosen mobile telephone apparatus (1) is placed in the cradling unit (3).
