Abstract

An encryption and decryption system sets at least two or more encryption passwords for one file and registers these encryption passwords in the system. At least one of these encryption passwords is used as a group ID for identifying a group. A plurality of groups of encryption passwords different for each group to which the user belongs are registered in the system. The user selects at least one of the plurality of groups of encryption passwords to encrypt a file.
