Finally some control over the traffic

The country targeting is probably what I use the most. We only care about a handful of markets so being able to avoid completely irrelevant traffic makes a big difference.

I wasn't going to subscribe without seeing how it worked first. Used the free visits, played around with the dashboard for a bit and then upgraded. Pretty fair way to try a product.

Different from normal paid traffic

I wouldn’t compare this to Google Ads or Meta. I see it more as an extra traffic source to experiment with. We’re still testing but so far we’ve seen ChatGPT and Perplexity referrals coming through.

Good for testing specific pages

I like that I can focus on the actual pages I'm working on instead of just sending everything to the homepage. I'm testing a few different landing pages right now and it's been useful.

Good dashboard, a few things could be added

It's clean and easy to understand which I prefer over bloated SEO tools. I'd still like more filters in the reporting section but nothing that stops me from using it.

Pacing is a really useful feature

Being able to spread visits instead of getting a weird spike all at once was important for me. Set the pace once and haven't really had to touch it since.

Didn't realize it covered this many AI platforms

I originally signed up because of ChatGPT but then noticed there were quite a few other sources available. I've started testing a mix instead of focusing on just one assistant.

Setup was super easy. Added my site, picked the pages and let it run. Nothing complicated. I like that I can verify the traffic directly in Analytics instead of just trusting another dashboard.

Useful if you run more than one site

I have several small projects and this is one of the reasons I kept using it. Each site stays separate and I don't have to create different accounts or spreadsheets to remember what I'm doing.

I'm not treating this like a replacement for ads or SEO. It's more of an experimental channel for us and at that level the pricing makes sense. Easy enough to test for a month and review the results.

The visibility checker was actually useful

The free AI visibility tool is how I found PerkFuel. I ended up checking a few domains and it gave me a much better idea of where our brand was missing from AI results.

This was my main concern before testing it. I didn't want another tool that required adding scripts, changing our stack or waiting for dev resources. Didn't need any of that.

Had a dumb question about my setup and expected the usual chatbot loop. Nope. Got a normal answer, fixed it, moved on. That's how support should be.

Still early but so far so good

Only been using it for about two weeks so I can't really give some huge long term review yet. Everything has worked properly so far and the setup was painless. Keeping it running for now.

I mainly use it for experiments

I’m not using huge volumes, mostly testing different pages and seeing what happens. For that use case it’s been really useful. The dashboard is simple and the traffic is easy to track.

Nice addition to what we're already doing

We're already working on SEO and GEO so I don't see PerkFuel as some magic replacement. For us it's another piece of the strategy and another channel we can experiment with.

Being able to check it in GA is the best part

There are so many marketing tools where you just have to trust their own stats. Here I can open Google Analytics and check the referral myself. That was probably the biggest reason I kept using it.

Our audience is mostly in the UK so getting traffic from everywhere would be pointless. I set the country once during setup and haven't had to worry about it again.

Easy to compare with our own analytics

One thing I appreciate is being able to compare what's happening with our own analytics instead of relying entirely on numbers inside the platform. Makes it easier to judge whether a campaign is doing what we expect.

No demo call, no onboarding headache

Signed up late at night and had a project live without talking to anyone. That's honestly what I want from software. If I need a 45 minute onboarding call just to start, I'm usually out.

Took me a few days to understand the value

At first I was looking at the PerkFuel dashboard and wasn’t really sure what I was supposed to be watching. Then I checked GA4 and saw the referral sources there. That’s when it clicked for me.

Works fine for product pages too

We're not a SaaS company and I wasn't sure if it would fit our use case. I've been testing it with a few category and product pages and being able to choose the exact URLs makes it flexible enough for us.

Fixed my mistake fast

I changed something in my project and couldn't figure out why the setup looked wrong after that. Messaged support, they spotted what I'd done and I fixed it straight away. My fault in the end lol.

I don't have to promote the whole site

Probably a small feature for some people but I really like being able to focus only on the pages we care about right now. We have a big site and definitely don't need every URL involved.

Interesting channel to experiment with

AI traffic is still pretty new for us and I'm not pretending it's suddenly our biggest source of users. I just wanted a practical way to start experimenting with it and PerkFuel has done that job well.

Would like more scheduling options

The pacing works well and I haven't had any issues with delivery. Only thing I'd add is more advanced scheduling by day or time. Not a deal breaker at all, just something I'd use.

Makes managing client tests easier

I use it across a few websites and the separate project setup keeps things pretty organized. It's especially useful when a client wants to test AI traffic without committing to anything complicated.

Actually saw ChatGPT traffic in GA

Was honestly a bit skeptical at first. I set up a project with 3 pages and forgot about it for a few days. Checked GA later and saw ChatGPT and Perplexity showing up in referrals. That was basically what I wanted to see.

Country targeting is useful

Most of our customers are in the US and UK so I didn’t want traffic coming from everywhere. Being able to control the countries was actually one of the features that made me try it.

Early days but promising

Interesting if you're already working on GEO

Been doing SEO for years but AI traffic is still pretty new for us. Tried PerkFuel mainly out of curiosity. We started seeing some AI referrals after a few days. Still testing it but so far it’s interesting.

Finally got some AI referrals

Our GA4 had basically zero traffic from AI tools before. After using PerkFuel we started seeing visits from chatgpt.com and perplexity.ai. Not huge numbers at first, but at least now there’s something measurable.
