MOSES PARTING THE RED SEA: In the bible Moses was chosen to lead Israelites out of Egypt, while leaving they are pursued by egyptians and when Moses comes to pass with the red sea he is told by god to use his staff to part the sea, they pass safely, while the egyptians are swallowed in the water. Moses parting the red sea is used as an allusion when a distinct path is being made by parting both ways. EXAMPLE: As I walked down the hall, everyone parted down the middle as if like the red sea.
