Fall is perhaps the most bountiful time of year for gathering dye stuffs. Some of my favorite dye plants mature to the right stage in the autumn, so it's a fun time of year to be a natural dyer. If it's a also a really busy season, it's great to know that MANY of these dye plants can actually be frozen or dried to work with during the quieter winter months.
