In the spotlight

Spot: This is a good example of how intensity can isolate a person or object. This is an extreme example, as no other lights are on.

Act 3 Scene 2: I chose this lighting because the figure here is very much in the spotlight, but we still cannot see their face and we have no idea who they are. Much like, in this scene, Prior and Harper are talking to each other and almost remember who each other are--but can't.

She was a long cool woman in a black dress, just a 5'9" beautiful tall. With just one look I was a bad men, cause the long cool woman had it all, had it all.

I think the single spotlight from the back is very effective in showing the emotion of the scene. I am a big fan of backlighting for more emotional scenes.
