Original British Army Officer's Sam Browne Belt in Belts

An original British Officer's Sam Browne Belt in brown leather and in good condition. This pattern of belt was worn by officers throughout the 20th Century. This example is undated but the pattern was used during the Great War, the Second World War and throughout the post-war years. The leather and brasswork would suggest that this example dates from the first half of the 20th Century. The belt will fit around a 34-36" waist with the smallest size being 33" and the largest being 39"…

A Soviet Tanker during the 1920's. Of particular note is the fact that he's wearing a double-breasted leather coat, tall leather boots, and leather-padded breeches. He also wears a leather "Sam Browne belt" with cross-strap and wool 'Bogatyrka/Budyenovka' cap, which would later be replaced after its inefficient nature was truly discovered during the Winter War with Finland.
