Nothing groundbreaking here, just a fairly simple scene of wildflowers and twilight looking towards Washington's Tatoosh Range. A handful of exposures for DOF, an exposure for the stars, an exposure for the moon, hand blended together. A lot of work with balancing the textures out in different areas, a lot of dodging and burning, tonality control through some luminosity selections, etc, etc. Spent a good while working on this, then had the homies Miles Morgan and David Thompson go over with…

Some pictures taken last summer in Mid Wales when it never got really dark at midnight. Still- the combination of stars, clouds and sky colours can give some interesting skyscapes.
