@Aklapper , I totally understand your arguments and the common sense behind them. I wonder if it would not be more relevant and even more efficient in this case to create a page within the editorial projects that includes all the phabricator tasks that concern them. A way perhaps to unburden phabricator and to bring the technical information closer to the concerned editors. The problem is that creating this page by hand is time consuming and requires regular updates. Whereas a tag makes things much easier. Besides, it is also possible to make queries with keywords that allow to target a project. This is also functional it seems to me. This is my conclusion about this topic. Have a nice day !

Phabricator is for bug reports, feature requests, planning actionable work items together. For general cross-wiki discussion I'd expect metawiki to be a venue. If Wiktionary admins want to use Phabricator for planning work that is definitely welcome! However I have not seen a number of Wiktionary admins expressing that...

Hello, I am not informed about the habits of computer scientists and I trust JackPotte on this point. My interest, as a new administrator of fr.wikibook is to help the community find the best compromise to improve the printable versions of their works.
I've started thinking about the long-standing abandonment of the pdf creator and open document .odt files. You know, some people prefer to read text on paper and the social sciences still live in the paper age. Also, I still believe that 100% digital is not viable for people living in precarious conditions.
So, if you can guide me through the phabricator to meet people interested in helping with this task of finding the best way to print the Wikimedia Project pages, I would be very grateful.
For instance, I would like to know where I can nitifie than the PDF generator of Chrome and edge are very much slower than with firefox.

The implementation of this functionality should be not so complicate.
The Kiwix app already fixed it and @Kelson could probably share some information for accessing to the code making this feature possible.
Also, I'm wondering if it wouldn't be interesting to coordinate the development of the android or smartphone in general Wikipedia app with the Kiwix one.

Visual Editor is still not in use on every namespaces of fr.wikiversity. The community decision was done more than on and half year ago (https://fr.wikiversity.org/wiki/Projet:Wikiversit%C3%A9/%C3%89diteur_Visuel_2).
