China KAITO- Unsung hero: The humble farmer

When highlighting the beauty of a culture, we often reference the artifacts left behind by the elite. But with my entry, I wanted to highlight the unsung heroes who are integral in holding up each civilization throughout history: the farmers. For quite some time now, China has used runner ducks to aid them in protecting rice paddies, and since I am obsessed with birds, I simply had to have a few accompanying KAITO as he works :). He is holding a bundle of immature rice, ready for planting.
