Overall, South Dakota is branded as much more of a “tourist destination” than North Dakota. I had to put in less work for South Dakota at first because it was so easy to get the big ticket items out of the way. There are more big ticket items, too! 🗺️ LOCATION Teton Park Road in Grand Teton National Park, Wyoming - a 35 minute drive from the town of Jackson 🥾 OPTIONS FOR HIKING 1️⃣ Catch the Jenny Lake Ferry* both directions and hike Cascade Canyon to Lake Solitude & back (14.7 miles, 2400 feet elevation gain) 2️⃣ Skip the ferry & hike Cascade Canyon to Lake Solitude and back, starting at Jenny Lake (18 miles + 2750 feet elevation gain).
