Bay Area artist Ann Weber's workshop gave visitors an incredible opportunity to create their very own cardboard sculpture. They learned how a simple cardboard box can turn into an animal, a boat, a person or modern art. The sky is the limit! They staple, glue or sew pieces of cardboard together to create whatever their imagination can come up with.

Ann Weber on Instagram: "I’m working on the second piece for a new sculpture — all straight weaving of the cardboard strips. I had to get creative in order to turn it while I was working on it so I opened the window and positioned a pvc pipe into the armature and stuck the pipe out the window. Same on the other end so the armature doesn’t get damaged. Once it is covered and painted with Polyurethane it will be very strong. We artists have to use Jerry rigging and engineering techniques to…
