A: Babies should be 4 months old or more 2. What type of water is that? A: Distilled water 3. What angle are you holding him at? A: 45 degrees or less 4. Why don’t you just use a tissue? A: The snot on the outside of his nose is not the issue. We need to get the snot out of his nasal passages so he can breathe and nurse. 5. Why don’t you just use a snot sucker? A: They don’t work as well. The goal is for baby to be able to breathe well enough to nurse/take a bottle. 6. Why are you doing this?
