One of the big reasons for unhappy relationships is emotional immaturity in one or both partners. At first, it might not seem like a big deal, and the issues could be minor, but if there are signs, it is very likely that the problems will escalate. Being able to prevent all the pain and suffering that occurs due to someone’s immaturity is easier if you know what to look for.

You have a choice when you're faced with difficult emotions. You can feed into rigid responses like sarcasm, avoidance, or disengagement, or you can do the opposite, moving toward the difficult emotion with compassion, curiosity, and acceptance. Either way, your decision matters because how you process and respond to your emotions informs every aspect of how you love, live, parent, and lead.
