Holiday display case

This year the theme of our holiday decorations at the Piqua Public Library are The Nutcracker and other Christmas Stories. This display case is full of music, books and ornaments related to the Twelve Days of Christmas. Do you have a favorite Christmas or other winter holiday story?

For December, I created an I Spy display in our case to catch the eye of all the kids coming through the library. I organized the three shelves by color; red, white/blue/silver, and green to give it some continuity. I also used other items to build the display higher and included multiples of some items to add a counting feature. After it was made, I created the rhymes to find the stuff.
