We spent 10 days driving a loop around Sabah, Borneo 🌴🦧 🐘 Exploring down dirt roads, searching high and low for wildlife and planning each stay on the day so we had the complete freedom to go anywhere. I'm so glad we rented a car and did it our way. We found amazing Malaysian food at a vegetarian restaurant around Sandakan, saw so much wildlife at our homestay in Kinabatangan and explored small towns that typically get skipped on the "Highlights of Borneo" tours.
