A simple and delicious recipe that dates as far back as Greek Antiquity. A simple recipe that centuries later we are still enjoying as a snack and healthy sweet treat!

500 grams sesame seeds
500 grams honey
100g pistachios 

Toast sesame seeds over medium high heat for approximately 5 minutes then add the pistachios and continue toasting for another 5 minutes or until the sesame has started to turn golden in colour.

Remove the sesame seeds and pistachios from the pan and set aside. In the same pan (that you’ve allowed to cool slightly) pour in the honey and bring it to a boil over medium high heat. As soon as the honey starts to boil and bubble, pour the toasted sesame and pistachio back in.
