This is one of my most common questions--"how do I lower high testosterone?" As with most diet or hormone-related questions the answer is...it really depends! It always depends on what's causing the elevated testosterone levels in the first place. Even just saying that "PCOS" is the cause of high testosterone isn't enough. Because high testosterone can have a root cause of blood sugar imbalance or insulin resistance or it can also be rooted in stress or inflammation. Solutions for these will of

Because high testosterone can have a root cause of blood sugar imbalance or insulin resistance or it can also be rooted in stress or inflammation. ⁠ ⁠ Solutions for these will of course depend on the root cause, but here are some recommendations that can be helpful. As always, check with your provider before starting supplements. ⁠ ⁠ ✔️Eating enough and balanced meals containing carbs, fat, and adequate protein shouldn't be overlooked! It's the foundation everything else⁠ ✔️Omega-3 is anti-inflammatory, fatty fish or a good quality supplement ⁠ ✔️Spearmint has been shown to lower testosterone- try sipping a spearmint tea!⁠ ✔️Magnesium plays a role in glucose and insulin regulation.
