I love solving problems and making things.

I spend most of my working time trying to create simple solutions to complex problems, or trying to simplify existing complex solutions.

I’m mostly a techie, I write code, I fix code, I design and build massively scalable software platforms, I design and build (hand solder) electronic circuits and embedded systems, I fix broken electronics (or try to) and I upgrade old electronics.

When I can find time, I like to draw (which I’m decent at), play musical instruments (which I’m rubbish at) and compose music.

I love working with people, so when I’m not being a maker I lead teams and organise events.

Professionally I used to work as a CTO, but now I’m building my own startup (Felk).

I have an unwavering attention to the smallest details, which I believe compounds to creating extraordinary user experiences.

Some may say I’m “pernickety”.
