It’s true, I’ve got MacOS X Leopard running natively on my ASUS barebone (Core 2 Duo, 2Gb RAM DDR2, 2x250Gb). Had only issues with my motherboard IDE controller, which happens to be a JMicron – workaround: IDE to USB cable!
My nVidia rocks with NVinject128 (yep, 128Mb is enough for my graphical needs) at 1680×1050. Booting is fast, responsiveness is great, can’t wait to get Reason and Cubase on it π
Unfortunately, I had more trouble to get it half-working on my laptop, an HP 530 (Intel 945 GME graphic card, 3945 wireless chipset and Intel HDA Audio with some Conexant codec on it). But, even that the graphic card only works with VESA, there’s no audio neither WiFi.. I won’t give up.
If you have any information on how to get Leopard loving my laptop, I’ll love you too!
