Janet visits Peter in hope he will exonerate her for telling Wendy about Kip, but Peter admits he thought it was unnecessarily cruel. However, he does realize that Janet did it out of a genuine love and concern for her daughter. Janet laments that everything she does is wrong even though her intentions are good. Tony inadvertently tips off Peter about Susan being up to something. After Dr. Hadley insists on doing a physical with Tony, who isn't looking well, he orders an EKG which suggests Tony is headed fore a coronary.
