Robin is called in while the insurance company thinks Steve is still on the cliff. Robin goes there only to find nothing except a mysterious assailant who shoots at him. Deducting that Whelan is still alive, Robin gets on the trail of the man and follows him north. When the trail disappears, Robin reverses his thinking and decides that Whelan was actually murdered by Eddie whose plan is to keep Whelan "alive" for three days to take advantage of the two year cancellation clause in Whelan's policy. Robin tricks Linda into a seeming love affair to draw Eddie out of hiding and thus solve the plot. See less
