They arrange to meet the girls at a secluded bathing beach the following day. Ology and his better half are the Flyers' guests at the time the plan is placed in operation. Early the next morning Flyer receives a telegram, supposedly from his friend Carlson, inviting him and his friend Ology to join him for a day's fishing. The plan works like a charm and the deceitful hubbies takes their leave loaded down with fishing rods, lunches, etc. They dispose of these without trouble, then hasten to the appointed trysting place where the girls are waiting. They decide to start the day's festivities with a boat ride, and, being able to secure but one boat, the entire four pile into a rowboat and start out. Meanwhile, the trusting wives have learned of their husbands' deception and started in hot pursuit. The men become aware of the fact that they are being followed, and in their efforts to dodge their better halves without revealing the cause of their embarrassment to the girls, they undergo many extremely ludicrous and exciting adventures. The wives finally manage to get the upper hand and severely punish their truant husbands for their day's indiscretions. Written by Moving Picture World synopsis See less
