The documentary focusses on Ebba's role in the resistance group in Randers and her life working as a courier. This is illustrated with reconstructions of Ebba's accounts of selected incidents during the occupation. The documentary sheds light on the two siblings' close relationship and common struggle, focussing in particular on what it was like to make such a decisive choice at that time in their lives.
