Alexis finds herself with nothing and ends up on the streets. Beth (Played by: Claire Louise Huder) Is a young newly divorced woman who is starting a new life. She buys a home that she can use as a rental and just as she starts to get her life going she finds out that she is gravely ill. These two ladies meet in unlikely circumstances and find a friendship and compassion that is sadly missing in both of their lives.
