The film is a spin-off to the classic movie, "Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid," where instead the plot is in the point-of-view of the sheriff, George Armstrong Chappell Jr., who helped to round up multiple members of The Wild Bunch. The film focuses mainly on two specific outlaws: Blue John and Silvertip, who had a hand in several robberies and worked closely with Butch Cassidy. After being appointed as Sheriff of Wayne County, Utah, George Armstrong Chappell Jr. settles in to live with his kids and his wife, Aurilla Sperry. When the marshal makes an unexpected visit to the house and informs George that a couple outlaws were spotted in the area (Blue John and Silvertip), George knows that he is the right man to take them down.
