Bio

Hi, I’m Dan. I work as a developer at Usetech, an international technology company. My work spans frontend, backend, infrastructure, automation, integrations, and developer tooling. I also contribute to WordPress.org and enjoy working with Gutenberg and building useful tools.

I have been working with WordPress for a long time and run several WordPress-powered projects of my own. Over time, I have found myself contributing more directly to the platform, usually by improving things that catch my attention.

The community is what makes WordPress different. It is hard to explain if you have not been around it, but it is real.

Been around long enough that the early days are a bit of a blur. Picked up WordPress at some point, built some things, and at some point realised I’d stopped looking at alternatives altogether.
